We are still exchanging letters and projects with our friends in Scotland. Our next project is a PPT about Rawche Rock and the Mediterranean.Our yearly magazine UNA MIRADA will be our final joint activity.

مشروع حل النزاعات

المدة الزمنية: من ت1 2007 ولغاية آذار 2008 الفئة المستهدفة: المعلم – الطفل الجهة المشرفة: ورشة الموارد العربية المكان: ابتدائية خليل شهاب الأهداف العامة للمشروع تنمية مهارات المعلم والأطفال السلوكية والاجتماعية والتواصلي تشجيع التواصل السليم والتفاوض تقبّل الاختلاف وتعزيز المشاركة والتعاون

تعزيز الثقة بالنفس والتفكير الإيجابي تشجيع احترام المشاعر وتقدير الذات وحقوق الغير

اكتساب مهارات عملية لحل النزاع خطوات تنفيذ المشروع - بدء العمل بالمشروع مـع بدايـة العـام الدراسي - وضع خطـة تنفيذية ثنائية الأبعاد والأهداف تطال: المعلم – الطفل - يشمل التدريب حوالي 12 معلماً من مدرستنا و 5 دارياً ويستفيد منه مجموع 200 طفلاً في مـدة زمنيـة تقـارب الثمانية أشهـر خطة العمل ستنفذ على 3 مراحل المـرحلة الأولى من أربعـة أيـام تدريبيـة - مـدة العمـل كل يوم 8 ساعات تتناول المحاور التالية مهارات ضبط النزاع البيئة المدرسية والصفية الداعمة تقنيات إدارة الصف

طرق تأديب الأطفال الايجابية المـرحلة الثانيـة من أربعـة أيـام تدريبيـة-ـدة العمـل كل يوم 8 ساعات تتناول المحاور التالية مهارات التواصل

أما المرحلة الثالثة فتناول ملاحظـة تطبيق البرنامج وتنفيذ خطواته وذلك لتحسين الأداء حول المواضيع السابقة بهدف رفع أداء المعلم التواصلي مع المتعلمين داخـل الصفوف وخارجها أساليب التقويم والمتابعة سيتم تقييم الدورات بإشراف أخصائيين ومشرفين من قبل ورشة الموارد العربية عبر لقاءات دورية مستمرة ومن خلال حضور الصفوف، اجتماعات، لقاءات مع المعلمين والفريق الإداري

Different Iftars for different Ages

Different iftars were held at our beloved association this Ramadan.Makassedians of all ages shared happy moments of iftar .The first iftar was held for Makassed personnel at Biel on the.It was grand and brought together Makassedians of Beirut and villages.The second one was for our students at Burger King.We invited around one hundred orphans to join our iftar,& the cutest iftar was done at Othman thinnourain school.KG students had a wonderful time having their first iftar at school.We invite you toshare these momments by looking at a sample of our photos.Ramadan Karim to all Makassedians.Ramadan Karim to all Muslims.

Our First International School Project

We are presently developing our international links through sharing and communicating curricular and extracurricular work with schools in Europe . We are very keen to make contact, exchange information, culture, and project work with schools outside Lebanon. Our first international school project is with Cauldeen Primary School in Inverness in the North of Scotland. The project is related to water(rainfall,floods,clothing,sites,rivers,dams,watersaving...).The Scottish teacher developing this project with us is Miss Mhairi Beaton who teaches Primary 5/6 class of 23 pupils.Miss Sabah Wazzan & grade six teachers will collaborate to carry out the project in Lebanon wih our fifth & sixth graders..We hope this link will be useful and educationally productive for our students.

A Grant for Zeina Shehab

The public affair section of the Americam Embassy gave Zeina Shehab,a KG teacher at our school,a grant to do a four month online course at the University of Maryland,Baltimore,USA.The course is entitled Teaching English to Young Learners (TEYL).Zeina was selected among 50 other applicants.Mabrouk zanzoun.You deserve it!
