Watch this video and you'll get the answers to your questions.

A message from our Japanese friends:
"This is the time of the year for the Girls Festival and the families display these ornate dolls. So Stanley is getting around.
We have a few questions for you. When do you start to study English? How many hours a week do you study? Do you have English programs on TV with subtitles?
If possible Yuko and I would like to come to visit you someday.
Just to answer one of the questions that the kids had. The picture of Hikari with Santa was in out house/ school."

Dear friends,
First we'd like to thank you for taking good care of our Flats. We liked the photos you have sent us!...and how wonderful it is to get the chance to meet you in Lebanon!
It's interesting to learn that there's a special festival for girls called "Hina Matsuri", or Doll Festival, which is celebrated on March 3rd in Japan. Parents celebrate their daughters' happiness, growth, and good health on this day. Your "Hina Dolls" are so lovely and the idea of this celebration is amazing!
HAPPY GIRLS' DAY!

Mental Math Medley

“Math Mental Medley” requires students to solve word problems represented verbally and record the answers on a provided answer sheet. I read each problem once, and students have only 90 seconds to answer it. I use a stop watch to manage time while performing this activity.
“Math Mental Medley” helps students listen, manage time, and enhance their calculation and problem solving skills. This activity is a good motivation for logical-mathematical students.
Grade five students are learning how to multiply and divide decimal numbers. I integrated this activity in their classroom, so I read five problems and students made their best to solve the problems as fast as they can correctly.

The Tooth Tally Project: The Tooth Fairy

We've made our own talking animation on Voki website.
Click the play button and let Lucky, our teddy bear, describe the Tooth Fairy.

What does the Tooth Fairy look like?
Here is a video of how we drew a portrait of The Tooth Fairy from the descriptive text.

Reused Rooms

Nursery children are learning about " Rooms in a House". They executed different activities related to this theme. They made a living room and a bedroom out of empty boxes and learned the importance of reducing waste to help the environment. Let's all save our environment by reusing and recycling.

The Tooth Tally Project

Give Us a Smile!

February is the "Dental Health Month". It will be a month full of activities where the emphasis is on taking care of our teeth.
"The Tooth Tally Project" is a fun ICT learning project...250 classes from around the world have joined in and are counting lost teeth. For the next three months, we'll be keeping track of our lost and wiggly teeth as well as doing other interesting activities.
As a start, we plotted our school location on the mapfaire website and then updated our class page on the "Tooth Tally" wiki and described our school.

Our School on the Mapfaire
