We attended a workshop titled " Connecting Classrooms", organized by the British Council and presented by Mr. Nigel Furness, the head of teachers at White Rock School in England. The two-day workshop was on how to implement new dimensions into the curriculum in order for our students to develop as global citizens. Mr. Nigel gave an example by showing us a video on how this is done at his school. Participants had the chance to work together and practice on how to devise lessons that serve this aim. On the second day, we had the chance to talk about our experience with the link between our school and Cauldeen Primary School in Scotland and how we were able to come up with different activities involving all subjects , thus creating a sense of respect in students' towards their culture and the culture of other countries and an awareness that there we are part of the world so it is crucial for them to be aware of its different cultures thus sharing its similarities and celebrating its differences.

I think linguists have to come up with a new word that describes somebody who is so up-to-date and creative. Personally, I can't find a word. All I can say is that you are giving a great leap to our school to be always ahead thus making difficult for others to keep up with our quick pace and unlimited creativity.
Mrs. Ghina, with you, I think that linguists should consider the meaning of success again. You took it to a whole new level.Thank you for your support and constant encouragement.
