Launching “Healthy Meals and Habits” Project

This Monday we launched a new project about children health that aims at encouraging healthy meals and habits in order for our students to stay fit. This project is incorporated with the nutrition department at AUB in which different activities will be held in grades 4 and 5. Today students had the chance to classify one day food intake into food groups, then they knew the nutritional characteristics of each food group using food counters, cards, and booklets.
More and more activities will be held every Monday such as the importance of physical activities, breakfast, snacks, and water in our lives.
Special thanks to Ms. Nancy Awada and her team for their highly appreciated efforts that will change our students’ food habits into healthy ones.

 Checking my Mass

Completing a questionnaire about "My Eating Habits"
