Universal Children's day- November 20

“Children's Day was first celebrated globally in October 1953, sponsored by the International Union for Child Welfare in Geneva. The idea of a Universal Children's Day was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 1954. November 20 is also the anniversary of the day when the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child in 1956. Convention on the Rights of the Child was then signed on the same day in 1989, which has since been ratified by 191 states. World Children's Day is currently observed every year on the 20th of November. Today, World Children's Day is celebrated in more than 100 countries. Some countries celebrate it on different dates, like June 1.”

"We were all children once. And we all share the desire for the well-being of our children, which has always been and will continue to be the most universally cherished aspiration of humankind."
