"The Caring School Community (CSC) program is a nationally recognized, research-based K–6 program that builds classroom and schoolwide community while developing students’ social and emotional skills and competencies.
CSC focuses on strengthening students’ connectedness to school—an important element for increasing academic motivation and achievement and for reducing violence and delinquency."
KSPS has already started implementing this program in its daily schedule. Our students already feel the difference and now they feel that they are a part of a community that listens, shares, and communicates with one another in a harmonious way.

Thank you gassia for this important post. Yes..we are a caring school and we prepare our students to have strong connectedNess with the community. Makassed KSPS students are exposed to a very effective program that works on developing their characters.
