Cooperative learning method: STAD

During the last math session students experienced a new learning method:Student Teams-Achievement Divisions (STAD) After I explained a math lesson about kinds of angles and how to draw and measure them, students worked in teams to make sure that everyone mastered the objectives of this lesson. Then all students made a quiz about the material given, and every student's score was compared to his previous test score(also about angles). Students, who exceeded their previous averages with their quiz scores, were rewarded by taking green cards that were summed according to team membership. Here's a bar graph that shows how students' scores improved after performing STAD. Congratulations.
Thank you for sharing this important experience with us.
But I wonder in what grade level this activity took place?

Thank you.I'm glad you liked this activity.
It took place in grade 5;however, we can use it in all grade levels. Students were happy to see how they made a progress after performing this activity.
