How Does KSPS Look Like?
Our friends at St John's Meads CofE School,Eastbourne
Our friends at St.Simran Public School,India
Among our new partnerships on e-languages website,we took part in the project titled "How Does Your School Look Like?" It was a very interesting back to school activity for Grade Six students as they had a chance to write about their school to other students. What was more exciting is that they also compared and contrasted their school to schools around the world as they learned about how schools look like in India,Egypt,Russia, and,Bangladesh.
The following text shows how KSPS grade 6 students described their school to their friends around the world:
We are students at Makassed Khalil Shehab Primary School located in Beirut,Lebanon. We are around 170 pupils, distributed among grades 2 till 6.Learning is fun at our school since we take part in various activities, community and environmental work such as fundraising events, planting trees, cleaning the beach, spreading awareness against climate change and the importance of saving energy and many more.Because of our active international work,we have received The International School Award from the British Council. If you would like to learn more about our school and have an idea about our various activities, visit our blog: http://clover-khalil.blogspot.com
