Grade Three students learned how to think like scientists. They followed the steps of the scientific method and did a simple experiment in class. They had to find out what bubbles look like. The young scientists used:
- 1 L of water
- 50 ml of dishwashing soap
Then they added the soap to the water and stirred the solution. Finally, they used the straw to blow up air into the solution. Bubbles started forming. Students observed the bubbles using a hand lens. They were able to answer the question quickly.
Students enjoyed thinking and acting like scientists. They had so much fun!
